2 years agoā¦
I was driving through the thick of the woods, both literally and figurativelyāon a dirt road that felt just as uncertain and winding as the path I was walking in life. I remember the stillness of the forest, the hum of the engine, and the weight on my chest that came from searching for something I couldnāt quite name.
Back then, I was chasing answers. Searching for clarity. Trying to remember who I was and who I wanted to become. That moment, that road, that version of meāIāll never forget.
Since then, so much has changed. Iāve grown in ways I never imaginedāendured so much pain, experienced new found joys, through quiet moments of surrender and wild leaps of faith. But in many ways, Iām still on the road. Still driving. Still discovering. Because life isnāt a destinationāitās a constant unfolding. š§āāļø
No one hands us a map. Iāve learned by getting lost, by making wrong turns, by doubling back, by trusting my gut even when the signs are unclear. Some days feel heavy. Some feel light. But every single day is a new chance to start again, to choose peace, to chase freedom, to rewrite my story.
Iāve realized that answers donāt always come all at onceāsometimes they come in whispers, in detours, in the way the sun breaks through the trees at just the right time. And maybe we donāt always need to āfigure it all out.ā Maybe we just need to keep goingābravely, honestly, with open hearts. Blindly with faith. āļø
Life will never stop testing us. But itās not about avoiding the punches. Itās about learning how to stand back up with grace. Itās about finding beauty in the chaos, and strength in the scars. ā¤ļøāš©¹
So today, just like two years ago, Iām still driving. But this time, Iām driving with more purpose. With more love. More responsibility. With more understanding of what truly matters.
And if youāre on your own winding roadākeep going. Your path may not be clear, but itās yours. And there is something beautiful waiting around the bend. š
Choose joy. Choose growth. Choose you. Every single day.
āTrust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.ā (Prov 3:5-6)
